2. Soundproofing Measures

(1) Soundproof Glass

(a) Insulated Glass Unit (IGU): effectively absorbs part of the vibration energy from mid-to-high frequency noise.

(b) Laminated Glass (PVB or Acoustic PVB): hinders and buffers glass vibration, blocking noise transmission. It offers excellent insulation performance, especially against low-to-mid frequency noise.

(2) Soundproof Accessories

Soundproof Cotton: made of high-density sponge material, applied inside the thermal break of aluminium extrusions and around the glass perimeter. It provides thermal insulation while delivering excellent sound insulation.

(3) Opening Type

For soundproof windows, the casement opening type is preferred due to its superior air tightness and sealing performance.
